Kibbler Selected For Crosswy Scholarship

Paris, Tenn.–The Paris-Henry County Chamber Music Society Scholarship Committee has selected Jack Kibbler as this year’s recipient of the William F. Crosswy Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating HCHS senior who plans to Major in Music Education. The amount is $500.00.
Kibbler is the son of David and Denay Kibbler of Puryear. Jack plans to attend Murray State University to pursue his music career.
The scholarship is named for William F. Crosswy who was the first HCHS Band director. He served as the Grove Junior and Senior High band director for many years before HCHS opened. Crosswy also directed The Tower Choir at Grove HS.
The scholarship was originally given by the HC Band Booster club but was discontinued a number of years ago. The scholarship was revived by Debra Traver and R. Michael Holden.
Donations to the scholarship fund are still being accepted. Checks need to be made out to:
Paris-Henry County Chamber Music Society and mailed to :175 Castleton Cove. Donations are tax deductible.
