
Jean Lampkins, 78, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence.
Jean Lampkins was born Wednesday, August 16, 1944, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Dorris M. Lampkins and the late Lola Mae Key Lampkins. She is also preceded in death by husbands: Willie Ray Lee and Jerry Deeter. Besides her parents and husbands, Jean is also preceded in death by her daughter: Karen Michelle Lee, who died in infancy and by her sister: Etta Fay Patterson.
Ms. Lampkins was the founder of Jean’s Fried Pies and supplier for Trolinger’s in Paris for 25 years.
Jean was very patriotic, loved politics, and was a staunch Republican.
She enjoyed church, watching television, and bird watching. Jean was very dedicated to and dearly loved her family.
Ms. Lampkins is survived by her daughter: Teresa Allen (Peter Smith), of Paris; sons: Michael (Chi Chi) Lee, Mark (Teresa Kay) Lee, and “Bo” Lee (Phillip “Poppy” Elliot), all of Paris; sisters: Nancy Burke, Diana (Danny) McBride, and Lisa (Timmy) Miles, all of Paris; brother: Ronnie (Pat) Lampkins, of Paris; also by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Darren French officiating.
Named as pallbearers are Kayla Lee, Ross Allen, Chad Reynolds, Clint Reynolds, Christopher Lee, Lucas Lee, Matt Lee and Rusty Lee; honorary pallbearers are Lauren Lee, Sam Allen, Andrew Allen, and Clayton Lee.
Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday and again Tuesday after 12:00 p.m. until service.
