Paris, Tenn.–Henry County High School Student Kate Bullion has advanced farther in DECA International Career Development than any other local student. DECA stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America.

DECA Advisor Brian Welp said “Katie advanced to the final round of competition.  It’s the first time any student from Henry County DECA has ever advanced to the final round.  There were over 20,000 students competing at the event from 10-15 countries.  In a typical event, there are over 200 students from around the world competing.  For Katie to advance that far is quite the accomplishment.”

Katie has been the High School DECA president this year and has made quite an impact on our club the last few years, he said. “We are extremely proud of her and her accomplishments!”
