As Northwest Tennessee Tourism continues the process of rebuilding, the organization has launched new branding and a host of exciting initiatives. NWTN Tourism is set to host the inaugural Legislative Breakfast on Friday, May 26 at Discovery Park of America, which will help initiate connectivity among the tourism community in the region.

New Executive Director Kasey Muench of Paris visited the region’s nine counties and sought feedback from local businesses, and community leaders to help develop the program’s brand direction. The result is a new logo and marketing strategy that reflects the region’s unique character and its many attractions.

“Northwest Tennessee is unlike any region in the state. The people I have met and stories I have heard have made me realized what a privilege it is to call Northwest Tennessee home. We are ready to share our region with others. Visitors can find us in the top left corner of the state, so we are inviting them to “Come to our corner.”  Muench said. “Our aim is to showcase the best our region has to offer, from our natural beauty to our rich cultural heritage, and everything in between.”

Sponsored by Total Tech Solutions and Carroll Bank & Trust, the organization’s inaugural NWTN Legislative Breakfast will help connect local and state government officials, business leaders, and tourism partners to discuss the future of tourism in the region.

Senators Ed Jackson and John Stevens, and Representatives Tandy Darby, Rusty Grills, Chris Hurt, and Brock Martin are set to attend and discuss key issues from the state level. Admission is free, but an RSVP is requested by simply going to www.nwtntourism.com.

“We are excited to be hosting the inaugural NWTN Legislative Breakfast,” according to Lindsay Frilling, Northwest Tennessee Tourism Board Member. “We are confident that this event will help build momentum for our new branding and help boost membership, and we look forward to working with local stakeholders to make Northwest Tennessee a must-visit destination.”

Northwest Tennessee Tourism is committed to working to promote tourism in the region by revamping its web and community presence, expanding marketing reach, and creating necessary promotional pieces like a NWTN Visitor’s Guide. Furthermore, the organization will strive to connect residents and businesses and build a culture of working together to better Northwest Tennessee.
