callow-rescue-2

Calloway County, Tenn.–Over this past weekend, members of the Calloway County Fire & Rescue attended a four-day long Swift Water Rescue training along with members from Stewart County Fire Rescue. This training was provided by Bill Matney Rescue Training at Fort Donelson National Park in Dover. Instructor Bill Matney will also be bringing this class to Calloway County, hosted by Calloway County Fire-Rescue, in the coming weeks to allow more of the members the opportunity to train and join our swift water team. Officials said, “We are proud of these men and women for putting in their time and effort to successfully complete this tough training so we are better prepared to serve our community when we are needed.”
