Mr. James W. Hunsucker, 71, of Buchanan, Tennessee, died at his residence Friday, April 28, 2023.
James was born Wednesday, August 29, 1951, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, to Darrell Hunsucker and Georgia Ellen Poole, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.
James was a general contractor and owner/operator of his own construction company.
He also worked for Interrail Signal for several years, where he made many lifelong friends.
He was a very devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.
James was known to always wear a smile and was guaranteed to put one on your face when he saw you.
James married Bonnie Cooley Hunsucker, of Buchanan, Tennessee; Friday, February 4, 1994.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; his daughter: Connie (Josh) Hancock, of Paris, Tennessee; his sons: Frank (Kim) Cervantes, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee, and Fred (Amy) Cervantes, of Paris, Tennessee; a sister: Susie Tice, of Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi; a brother: Roger Dale Hunsucker, of Waterford, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is also survived by other family members.
His body is to be cremated and a family celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
