Paris, Tenn.–There will be new–and more comfortable–seating for dignitaries at the World’s Biggest Fish Fry Grand Parade this year. Setco of Paris manufactured the new seating and this is the second set to be used in the U.S. Setco is a global company and is the parent company of t-box transport. They are allowing the Fish Fry to use the seating at no cost. Setco has already manufactured seating for 10 stadiums overseas. The new seating was installed this morning by Setco and city of Paris personnel. In photo, Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee Executive Director Rob Goad, left, watches the installation process. Each section seats 58 and are full seats, not bench seating, as has been used in previous years. At Monday’s meeting of the Henry County Tourism Authority, Goad praised Secto for its innovation and said, “This is a great example of supporting local businesses and local businesses supporting the community.” The Grand Parade is held at 10 a.m. Friday and the new seating is located in front of Paris Inns and Suites on E.
