
Dyersburg, Tenn.– Agents with the 29th District served simultaneous search warrants on two rooms at the Emerald Inn in Dyersburg pursuant to an investigation that revealed meth was being stored and sold out of both rooms.
As Agents entered the first room, one male was arrested while attempting to flush a bag of Methamphetamine down the toilet (the evidence was recovered). Upon entering the second room, Agents encountered one male with a plastic sack containing large shards of methamphetamine.
Scales and baggies were recovered in both rooms and both men were transported and are being charged with felony drug charges.
One man was also charged with a felony tampering with evidence charge. Agents were assisted by Dyer County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. This case is being prosecuted by the office of the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman, Jr.
