
Paris, Tenn.–The 70th World’s Biggest Fish Fry begins today with a 5K run, car show and the annual demolition derby.
Saturday:
Hushpuppy Dash 5K, 8 a.m. Henry County Fairgounds
Car Show, 8 a.m. KPAC parking lot.
Demolition Derby, 7 p.m., fairgrounds Enty fee, $50; Admission, $10; children 6-10, $5; Pit passes, $20.
Looking ahead to the beginning of next week:
Monday:
Kick Off/Street Dance, 7 p.m. downtown Paris. Ray Lews Band, free admission.
Tuesday:
Carnival opens 5-11 p.m., fairgrounds. The carnival continues through April 30.
