
Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Prevention Coalition and the Union City Police Department collected over 20 pounds of medications at the DEA Drug Take Back Day. The medication collected was taken to the DEA collection site, so it can be disposed of safely and properly. Drug Take Back Days were held all over the state today. Officials said, “Thank you for participating in events like this so we can help keep these medication‘s from getting into the wrong hands and harming someone.” The event was held at the Obion County Public Library.
