Troy, Tenn.–A new principal is being welcomed at Obion County Central High School. With the retirement of Barry Kendall after 28+ years in education, Corry Essary has been named the new principal. In a statement, Director of Schools Timothy Watkins said, “I would like to congratulate Corry Essary on being named Principal of Obion County Central High School for the 23-24 school year. Mr. Essary will officially begin his new role July 1, 2023. Thank you Mr. Kendall for your leadership, service, and dedication to Obion County Schools.”
