Ms. Marilyn A. Byrd, 86, of Dover, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at Dover Care Center, Dover, Tennessee.
She was born Sunday, September 6, 1936, in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Grady Byrd and Mary Lea Lancaster Byrd.
Marilyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover. She was the church organist for many years.
She retired from Byrd and Chance Garage, where she worked as the secretary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: L.G. Byrd, Max Byrd, and Virginia Chance.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be no public services and Ms. Byrd will be laid to rest at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dover, Tennessee.
