Henry, Tenn.–Unbelievably, motorists involved in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 79S this morning escaped serious injury. One vehicle was overturned, while the front windshield was smashed out with airbags deployed.
The Henry Fire Department and Henry Police were dispatched out to a report of a motor vehicle accident with possible injuries at the 13000 block of Hwy. 79S this morning at 7:50 a.m.
The Fire Department’s rescue truck responded to the scene with seven firefighters to find a two-vehicle accident, with all patients out of the vehicles.
Firefighters spent the next 2 hours on scene doing traffic control and debris cleanup. The cause of the incident is under investigation from THP which has not yet issued its report.
Also assisting was the Henry County 911 Center, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Henry Police Department, TDOT, THP, Denton Towing and Henry County EMS.
