McKenzie, Tenn.–Saturday’s Easter Egg Drop in McKenzie was a huge success, with 50,000 Easter eggs dropped from a helicopter at the McKenzie City Park. McKenzie Chamber officials thanked everyone “that worked so hard to make this event happen: the sponsors, Chamber members, vendors, volunteers (this would not have been possible without you) and all the families that brought your precious children and grandchildren to spend your Saturday morning with us. We strive to make the EGG DROP an event the community is proud of and will look forward to in years to come.” They also gave a special thank you to the helicopter pilot Andre Bigham “for making the event perfect”.
