Union City, Tenn.–Officers with the Union City Police Department showed freshmen and seniors the dangers of impaired driving. The Legendary Lt. Melvin Dowell demonstrated the Convincer, a low speed crash simulator which simulates the force of a 5 to 7 mph collision. Union City Police said, “We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Wyndridge Golf Course, in Troy for the donation of the use of the golf carts. With your help we made the demonstration real.” (UCPD photos).
