MARTIN, Tenn. – Due to the threat of rain in the Martin area today, the University of Tennessee at Martin’s baseball contest against Alabama A&M will now be played in Huntsville, Ala. First pitch time from Bulldog Field is set for 2 p.m.
As a result of this announcement, the originally scheduled Tuesday, May 9 contest will be moved from Huntsville to Martin with first pitch taking place at 4 p.m. from Skyhawk Field.
With this schedule change, UT Martin is now in the midst of a season-long eight-game road swing. The Skyhawks start Ohio Valley Conference play this weekend (March 24-26) at Eastern Illinois before traveling to Southern Illinois on Tuesday, March 28. UT Martin will then resume its home schedule on March 31-April 2 against OVC rival SIUE.
