OC Junior Accepted To Governor’s School For Ag Sciences

Obion County Schools Junior Carly Howell was accepted to the Tennessee Governor School for the Agricultural Sciences. She’s going to have a fantastic summer learning more about Tennessee agriculture. Her parents are Amber and Ben Howell.
 “I have grown up in Obion County, learning from others around me about agriculture and how it affects our daily lives. My community has always pushed me to not only do things for myself, but to also make things beneficial for my community,” she said. “I plan to attend UTM and major in Agribusiness and Management. I am currently the Vice President for our FFA Chapter, where I have participate in Livestock Judging, Ag Issues, Employment Skills, and Poultry Judging.”
