Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol are asking everyone to avoid Hwy 641 N near Puryear.
A collision between a semi and a logging truck occurred this morning and the highway is blocked both ways. One of the vehicle occupants was trapped for a considerable amount of time and a helicopter was called to transport him to an area hospital. A Level 1 trauma was declared.
Sheriff Josh Frey said the highway will be blocked for several hours through the afternoon. All traffic is being routed through Foundry Hill Rd.
