Paris, Tenn.–Last week new 911 circuits were installed in the new Henry County 911 Center on Brewer Street in downtown Paris. 911 Director Mark Archer said, “This state-wide upgrade will take us from one fiber circuit to three, giving us more redundancy in case we fail.”
New circuits are being installed at the Paris Police Dispatch Center in City Hall this week. “In order to do this we are having to move the 911 lines to the new center during the day. This will give us an opportunity to make sure everything is working as it should. All other operations for dispatch remain at the PD.”
