Paris, Tenn.–There are two upcoming road closures in Henry County of which the public should be aware: Guthrie Road will be closed Monday, May 20, for culvert replacement; and Shady Grove Road will be closed Tuesday through Thursday, March 21-23, also for culvert replacement.
This is the information from the Henry County Highway Department:
Guthrie Road will be closed Monday, March 20th for culvert replacement beginning at 7:30am until early evening. Closure will be at .4 miles from Poplar Street NE and at .1 mile from Jackson Drive/Guthrie intersection. 911 address #390 will be the last accessible address on Guthrie from Poplar Street and #484 will be the last accessible address on Guthrie from Jackson Drive/Guthrie intersection.
WEATHER PERMITTING
Shady Grove Road will be closed Tuesday, March 21st, Wednesday, March 22, Thursday, March 23 for culvert replacement. Traveling north on India Road the last accessible 911 address will be #6040. Traveling south from Hwy 140 the last accessible 911 address will be #6510.
Robert Barnhill Road can be used as detour.
