Todd Latta Scholarship Bluegrass Concert Set

Paris, Tenn.–Join us at Krider Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 4 for the Todd Latta UT Martin Scholarship Fundraiser Bluegrass Concert featuring Jargon.  Originally formed in 2005, Jargon performs regularly at festivals, Opry shows, county fairs, and various benefit concerts in Tennessee and Kentucky. Jargon has also appeared at Music at the Park at the Eiffel Tower Park in Paris.

General seating tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets in advance at KriderPAC.com or at the door.

Doors open at 6 PM for the 7 PM family-friendly event which also will include a “Latta-themed” golf and sports Silent Auction which lasts from 6 to 9 PM.

Additional donations can be made the night of the event, through the online ticket site, or directly to the Todd Hampton Latta Memorial STEM Scholarship Endowment at: give.utm.edu/latta.  Kentucky Lake Urologic Associates and Carroll Bank and Trust are sponsors.

Todd was a longtime educator and STEM teacher at Inman Middle School in Paris, where he coached softball for several years along with basketball.  He was a FASA State Director for girls’ softball.  He also formerly coached Little League baseball, Upwards football, and Paris-Henry County basketball.  Todd was currently a radio commentator for Henry County High School football and was very active in the HCHS Quarterback Club for many years.  Todd passed away October 11, 2020 at the age of 47.
