Paris, Tenn.–With the $7,284 raised Tuesday, the year-to-date total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is at $$408,910.

Wednesday is the last day for the annual auction and it is “Open To Anyone Day”, when items are donated from anyone and any groups and the season’s auctioneers take turns at the mike. Members of the Paris Lions Club said if there is any chili left from their Chili Day Tuesday, they will be bringing it to Helping Hand Wednesday and selling it by the gallon. A donated refrigerator and freezer used this year also will be bid on.

On Open to Anyone Day, anyone can bring donations to the Paris Convention Center from 7-9 a.m.

On Tuesday, the groups donating items were: Lakeway Village, Mineral Wells Animal Clinic, and Lakewood Beta. Auctioneer was David Jackson, with the Paris Kiwanis manning the phones.

You can listen to the auction on our stations (or your computer) at 104.7 FM/AM 1000. Auction phone is 644-1695.
