
Paris, Tenn.–Paris First United Methodist Church, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, served 81 families with nutritious food this week. Fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, desserts, chicken, pork, beef and prepared frozen dinners were among the meals shared.
On Thursday, at the Food Bank headquarters in Camden, seven volunteers, led by Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer Thornton sorted and packed 3,112 pounds of nutritious food. It will distributed by churches, daycare and senior citizen facilities in West Tennessee.
