Helping Hand Now At $354,106

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at a year-to-date total of $354,106.
With 19 slates of donations, $8,181 was raised Wednesday by the Van Dyke/Routon communities and Spring Hill Baptist Church. Auctioneers were Andy Collins and Amy Veazey, with Lions Club members manning the phones.
Thursday’s donations will be from Maplewood Baptist Church, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Peppers Automotive, Grace Episcopal Church. On Friday, donations will come from the Springville community, the World’s Biggest Fish Fry, AHC Healthcare and the Doghouse Rescue. Saturday will be another big day, with TVCC donating.
Those wishing to make memorials to the late Kathy Sadler may do so on Thursday, when Maplewood Baptist Church will be making donations. Maplewood was her church.
The auction started January 9 and runs through March 1. Helping Hand is known for unique and homemade items which often raise large sums.

Drop off items and the Paris Convention Center between 7-9 p.m. The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. daily and noon on Satudays. To bid, call 644 1695.
