Helping Hand Total Now At $286,186

Paris, Tenn.–With the $3,670 raised Wednesday, the grand total so far for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is at $286,186.
On Wednesday,18 slates of items were donated by Carl Perkins Center,Country Club Estates/Nelson/Shady Grove; Paris Landing; HCHS cross country, Phases to Freedom and American Heritage Girls.
Auctioneer was Andy Collins with the Paris Lions Club manning the phones.
Looking ahead: Thursday items will be donated by the Elkhorn community and the Friends of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge; Friday items will be from Easton’s Angels, A Place Called Home; Salvation Army, HCHS Baseball; REAL Hope. And Saturday will be another big day with the First Baptist Church donating items.
Helping Hand raises thousands of dollars each year for over 80 non-profit and public service groups. It started January 9 and runs through March 1. Helping Hand is known for unique and homemade items which often raise large sums.
