Lucy Ann Smith, 83, of Paris, Tennessee, died at her residence Friday, February 10, 2023.
She was born Tuesday, December 29, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, to Lloyd Norwood Mendenhall and Dorothy Burch Mendenhall, who both preceded her in death.
She married Clarence Smith, of Paris, Tennessee, Saturday, July 26, 1969.
Lucy was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband; her daughters: Brigid (Dave) Danneker, of Rosemount, Minnesota, and Carmen Haynes, of Brentwood, Tennessee; her sons: Joseph L. (Melissa) Smith, of Paris, Tennesse, and Bruce (Dawn) Smith, of Paris, Tennessee; her sister; Darlene Yoder, of Vandalia, Ohio; and her grandchildren: Kimberley (Bryan) Milliard, Wayne (Heather) Danneker, Christian Haynes, Jessica Toto Polito, Angela Herrera, Eric Smith, Austin Smith, Tiffini (Zach) Ayers, Elizabeth Lowry and Jayla Smith; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at McEvoy Funeral Home. The burial will be held at Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the funeral service.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
