Delmus Lee Walker, 90, of Bear Spring, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Diversicare in Dover, Tennessee.
He was born Friday, November 25, 1932, to Clinton Lee and Lillie Mae (Glasgow) Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 58 years, Ruby Walker; parents: Clinton Lee and Lillie Mae Walker; sisters: Helen Austin, and Nell Nelson, and brother:Charles Walker.
Mr. Walker was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, then employed and retired from SCI Corp. of Madison, Illinois, in 1992, after 26 years.
Surviving are his children: daughter: Denise Walker, of Collinsville, Illinois; son: Dana (Laurie) Walker, of Troy, Illinois; grandchildren: Bailey (Batu Kirilmaz) Walker, of North Carolina, and Mackenzie (Nathan) Funk, of North Carolina; sisters: Carrie Whitehead, and Carolyn (Donnie) Boyd; brother: Lewis (Gayle) Walker, all from Dover, Tennessee, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, Tennessee, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Funeral service starting at 11:30 a.m., with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Burial to follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover, Tennessee.
