
Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man is being held on $50,000 bond after his arrest on multiple charges of arson, burglary and vandalism. The vandalism charges include painting grafitti on numerous buildings in downtown Paris.
Paris Police Captain Jeramye Whitaker said Ethan Hammond was arrested today on warrants filed by the Paris Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and the Paris Fire Department. The charges stemmed from multiple offenses that were committed on multiple dates in Paris.
The offenses include:
Arson and aggravated burglary on 2/7/2021 to a residence on Highwood Circle
Arson and Prohibited Weapon on 1/9/2023 at 101 West Blythe Street
Five charges of Vandalism to multiple buildings in Paris in December
One charge of Vandalism to a building in January
Whitaker said, “This has been an ongoing investigation by the Paris Police Department and the Paris Fire Department. We are pleased to bring this investigation to an end with the charges filed on Mr. Hammond.”
He is being held in the Henry County Jail.
