Paris, Tenn.–Due to a break in the main water line at Henry County High School, HCHS students will not attend school on campus Monday, January 23rd and Tuesday, January 24th. Instead, HCHS will be using Virtual Learning Days for Monday and Tuesday, and HCHS students should complete their work through Google Classroom on these days.
Families who have no access to the Internet may pick up a device for loan at the E building/field house entrance during school hours. If your child needs to attend on campus due to a lack of Internet or device access, the student should attend at normal time. A pre-packaged breakfast and sack lunch for students who attend will be available and restroom and water access will be available in a portion of the building.
Before and after-school PatriotXL at HCHS will continue as normal. HCHS Staff members will report as normal.
Grove School will not be impacted. Grove students who typically attend fourth block at HCHS will shuttle to HCHS as usual for fourth block. Buses for Grove students will continue on normal schedule, including their normal transfers/pick ups at HCHS.
All other schools in the Henry County School System will remain on normal schedule.
Information regarding in-person school at HCHS after Tuesday will be forthcoming.
