Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $73,416

Paris, Tenn.–With the $5,521 raised Monday, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised an unofficial total of $73,416 for this year. Each year, thousands of dollars are raised for over 80 non-profit and public service groups.

Donating 13 slates of items today were the W.G. Rhea Library, Paris-Henry County Arts Council, Trinity United Methodist Church and Master Gardeners. Auctioneer today was David Jackson, with members of the Athena Delphian Club manning the phones.

Tuesday’s items will be donated by Security Bank and White & Associates Wimberley Agency.

Looking ahead, Wednesday’s items will be donated by Kroger, Henry County Prevention Coalition, the Jones Mill/Hico community, Charter Senior Living, and Heny County employees.

The auction started January 9 and runs for two months, ending on March 1.

Donated items can be seen daily on the Henry County Helping Hand Facebook page and website.
Drop off items and the Paris Convention Center between 7-9 p.m. The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. daily and noon on Satudays. To bid, call 644 1695.
