
Mrs. Caroline McGaugh, 76, of Union City, passed away at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home.
Caroline (or “Lines,” as many knew her) was born Thursday, March 28, 1946, in Union City, daughter of the late Floyd and Edith (Poor) Robinson.
She worked for many years as a lab and X-ray technician and was a member of Jones-Walker VFW Post 4862.
Caroline was also a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She spent many years on the tennis courts, cross-stitching, chaperoning her kids’ field trips, and swinging a golf club. So many were blessed by her knack for crafting, whether she was making homemade dolls or perfecting her painting skills.
She married Don McGaugh Sunday, April 28, 1968. He survives.
Caroline is also survived by two daughters: Kellye Albright, of Obion, and Amanda Muniz (Michael), of Franklin; four grandchildren: Parker and Kyndall Albright, of Obion, and Evan and Elizabeth Muniz, of Franklin; one sister: Diane Cursey (Bob), of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Pastor Jamie Lee will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
