Memphis, Tenn.–Lisa Marie Presley will be buried at Graceland, the famed home of Elvis Presley. WREG in Memphis is reporting that Lisa Marie will be buried next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020.
Lisa Marie was born at Graceland February 1, 1968 to Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Elvis and other members of the Presley family are buried at Graceland.
Lisa Marie was at Graceland over the weekend and spoke to fans to commemorate Elvis’ birthday.
Fans have been gathering at Graceland since word of Lisa Marie’s death was reported. She died Thursday at the age of 54, after being rushed to the hospital with a medical emergency.
On the Graceland Facebook page, the Presley family posted this message: “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
A representative from Elvis Presley Enterprises told The Associated Press that the mansion is in a trust that will go to the benefit of her children — she’s survived by three daughters. The representative did not have details on the timing of a funeral or burial.
