Helping Hand Total Now At $47,392

Paris, Tenn.–On Day Five of the 2023 Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, the total raised has reached $47,392.

Friday’s total of $10,000 even was raised by the Paris Rotary Club, the Osage/Airport community, Party Bounce & Jump and the PI. There were 15 slates of a wide range of donated items today.

Auctioneers today were Andy Collins and David Jackson, with members of the Rotary Club manning the phones.

Rotary Club members kept the bidding high, with a old print of David Flowers on a motorcycle going for $200 (bought by John Etheridge and John Van Dyke) and a photo of Leon Ridgeway going for $100 (bought by Ridgeway Funeral Home).

Saturday will be another big day, with members of the Pleasant Hill community donating items. Saturday’s auction starts at noon.

The auction runs for two months, ending on March 1.

Drop off items and the Paris Convention Center between 7-9 p.m. The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. daily and noon on Satudays. To bid, call 644 1695.
