Patricia Louise “Patty Lou” Willoughby Woodward

Patricia Louise “Patty Lou” Willoughby Woodward, 82, of Paris, Tennessee, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Patty was born Monday, December 30, 1940, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Maurice Elmer Field and the late Louise Merrick Field. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother: Maurice Houston Field.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a longtime former member of First United Methodist Church in Paris.  She was active and supporting in the Paris Elks Lodge for many years.  Patty loved Tennessee football and was a huge fan of Peyton Manning.  She enjoyed traveling, camping, and working in her yard. 

She was married Saturday, September 11, 2004, to Kenny Woodward, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three children: Donna (Jeff) Brewer, of Paris, Brad (Debbie) Willoughby, of Jasper, Indiana, and Teresa (John) Laughlin, of Paris; one sister-in-law: Carla Field, of Martin, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Austin Paschall, Ty Curtis Bruce, Noah Willoughby, Ella Willoughby, Michelle (Shayne) Summar, and Alex Laughlin; two great-grandchildren, Blake Summar and Jack Summar; two nieces: Carrie (David) Johnson and Alicia Field-Pinto; and one nephew: Maurice (Bartola) Edward Field.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 409 N Wilson Street, Paris, Tennessee, 38242, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Emily Walker and Joy Weathersbee officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
