Peacock’s new television series Poker Face has added Paris Native Cherry Jones to the cast that aleady includes a long list of other acting luminaries.

The 10-part series also features Luis Guzman, Adrien Brody, Benjamin BrattChloe SevignyEllen Barkin, Joseph Gordon-LevittJudith Light,  Nick NolteRon Perlman, and more to round out the cast.

The series is led by Natasha Lyonne. The 10-part anthology series marks the first TV outing for the Knives Out and Star Wars filmmaker Rian Johnson.

Jones is a Broadway, movie and television actor. She is well known as Nan Pierce in HBO’s black comedy drama Succession, which also earned her an Emmy Award. She has two more Emmys for portraying Holly Maddox in The Handmaid’s Tale and for playing U.S. President Allison Taylor on the Fox series 24. The actor recently wrapped up Apple TV’s limited series Five Days At Memorial.

Jones also won two Best Actress Tony Awards–for “The Heiress” and “Doubt”. She also has appeared in numerous movies, including “The Perfect Storm”, “I Saw The Light”, “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “Erin Brockovich”.

According to Rian Johnson, the series is a character-driven, case-of-the-week mystery comedy-drama that is scheduled to debut January 26 on Peacock.
