Mrs. Shirley F. Clark, 79, of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Thomas West, Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born Tuesday, April 27, 1943, in Linton, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Plomer Futrell and Mintie Lee Herndon Futrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Carr Clark; son: John Clark; and sister: Shelia Olher.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Pugh Flat Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker, who loved caring for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her son: Jeff Clark (Sheri); her daughter: Johanna Lee (Scott); grandchildren: Katelyn Clark, Sara Clark, and Jamey Clark.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Russ Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Pugh Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jamey Clark, Scott Lee, Tommy Wyatt, Jimmy Wyatt, Booger Watson, Ronnie Atkins, Matt Barnes, and Rick Gillingham.
