Union City, Tenn.–A Martin woman was arrested for possession of meth following a traffic stop in Obion County.
Jessica Ann Pyrdom, age 45, was arrested Wednesday evening following a traffic stop on Clover Street in Union City.
According to the press release, Obion County Sheriff’s Office Drug Investigator Willcutt stopped the vehicle Pyrdom was operating for driving 55 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.
Pyrdom gave the investigator permission to search her vehicle and that is when he discovered three grams of Methamphetamine. Pyrdom was then arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Sell and transported to the Obion County Jail where she remains with no bond.
She was arraigned Friday afternoon in Obion County General Sessions and her next scheduled court date is set for January 12th.
