
Dover, Tenn.–Three Henry Countians were arrested on multiple charges on New Year’s Eve in Stewart County.
Arrested by the Stewart County Sheriff’s deputies were: Jesse Breaux, age 41, of Paris; Tonya Wallace, age 45 of Paris; and Michelle Armstong, age 48 of Springville.
Breaux was charged with evading felony arrest, fugitive from justice, simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful removal of registration decal, obstruction of tag, driving with expired license and registration.
Wallace was charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession.
Armstrong was charged with simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The incident began on Saturday December 31st at approximately 8:38 pm when Deputy Zack Hawk attempted a traffic stop at Bagsby Hill Road and Hwy. 79 in which the driver, Jesse Breaux, refused to stop.
The vehicle ran off the roadway and into the parking lot of the Dollar General Store where deputies used their vehicles to block the vehicle to prevent it from entering back on the highway. Once the driver was removed from the vehicle deputies found two female passengers also in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle found marijuana, cut straws with meth residue on them. All occupants were arrested, the driver was found to have an active warrant out of Louisiana and will be held for authorities in Louisiana.
One female was found to have methamphetamine in a vial once she was searched in the jail.
