Union City, Tenn.–Obion County Schools Staff will report to their respective schools as scheduled on Tuesday, January 3, but there will be a change in the calendar to allow teachers an extra day to get their rooms ready after last week”s storm.
County Schools Director Tim Watkins said, “We are making an adjustment to the calendar to allow those teachers affected by flooding more time to put rooms back together or relocated within their building if necessary.”
The professional development day that was originally scheduled for March 17th, will be moved to Wednesday, January 4th. All students will return to all schools on Thursday, January 5th.
