
Jerell F. Robinson, 81, of Big Sandy, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Born Saturday, October 11, 1941, in Buchanan, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clifton Robinson and the late Ruth Elaine Osborn Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: James “Bubba” Robinson, Ronnie Robinson, and Billy Robinson.
Jerell was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired after a lengthy career as a skilled machinist. He was awarded Machinist of the Year in the Nashville area two years in a row. In his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and attending Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Camden, Tennessee.
He is survived by his five children: Melissa (Ken) Dickie, of Gallatin, Tennessee, Jay (Jennifer) Robinson, of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Jeremy (Autumn) Robinson, of Puryear, Tennessee, Joel (Fiancée Deidra Wilford) Robinson, of Hazel, Kentucky, and Brandon (Keely) Robinson, of Smyrna, Tennessee; a sister: Mildred Jane Curd, of Murray, Kentucky; and four grandchildren: Gage (Sydney) Davis, Jaycie Robinson, Zoey Robinson, and Weston Robinson.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242, will be handling the arrangements.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the service time. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Ricky Jordan officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jay Robinson, Jeremy Robinson, Joel Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Ken Dickie, and Chris Robinson.
Burial will follow the service in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, 1531 Pleasant Hill Road, Camden, Tennessee, 38320.
