Ms. Kimberly Melton, 55, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee.
She was born Tuesday, November 28, 1967, the beloved daughter of the late James and Velma Austin Burkhart. Kim is preceded in death by her parents: James and Velma Burkhart; daughter: Ashlyn Melton; son: Michael Melton, and several aunt and uncles.
Kim enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making memories. She loved taking a ride around the county and getting ice cream. Kim made special memories on the big trips out of town to see the ocean and the mountains with her daughter, Ashlyn. Kim was a loving, caring and devoted mother who dedicated her life and love to her daughter Ashlyn who passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Kim leaves behind a host of family and friends that loved her the most. Extended family: Timmy and Tammy Wallace, Eli and McKenzie Thomas, McKaylie Wallace, Gage Welker, Braxton Welker, Jade Welker, Erin Morgan and Easton Morgan. Aunts and Uncles; Betty Wyatt (David), Wanda Fay Coleman (Joey), Leon Burkhart (Debbie), Donnie Burkhart (Jane) and Faye Thomas (Perry), Janice Walker (Danny), and several cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the hour of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Brian Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Timmy Wallace, Eli Thomas, Lewis Shepherd, Jr., Donnie Burkhart, Kelly Watters, and Dayton Thomas. Honorary pallbearers; McKenzie Thomas, McKaylie Wallace, Erin Morgan, Gage Welker, Braxton Welker, and Jade Welker.
