Mr. Anthony Ray Haywood, 67, died Friday, December 23, 2022, at St Thomas Rutherford.
He was born in Waverly, Wednesday, October 19, 1955, to Roy and Louise Lowe Haywood. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Roger Haywood.
He was a retired occupational therapist for the Veteran Administration.
He was a graduate of 1975 Class of Antioch High School, Class of 1979 graduate of Bethel College, Class of 1983 graduate of Nashville State and Class of 1993 of Tennessee State University.
He is survived by his wife: Regina Flippin Haywood, of Bell Buckle; a son: Casey (Sydney) Haywood, of Bell Buckle, and two nephews: Wesley Haywood and Reese Haywood.
Funeral services for Mr. Haywood are Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time.
The interment is at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Westport, Tennessee.
Pallbearers to serve are Casey Haywood, Caleb “Cornbread” Parker, Zach Schudar, Blake Denton, Mike Yaskulski, Nick Lowe, Michael Lowe and Timothy Reed.
