All park roads will open at their normally scheduled time on December 25th, 2022.
On Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25th, all park facilities, which include the Visitor Center, administrative offices, historic Dover Hotel/“Surrender House,” Carriage House, and public restrooms will be closed so our employees can enjoy the holiday with their families.
The park grounds and roads will remain open during their normal access hours. We will re-open all facilities, with the exception of administrative offices, on Monday, December 26th, at their normally scheduled times.
Superintendent Brian McCutchen, together with the entire staff and volunteers of Fort Donelson National Battlefield, wish all a safe and happy holiday season, and thank everyone for their visitation and support of the national park during this year.
