
Paris, Tenn.–Drum roll…And the winner of the 2022 Peoples’ Choice Award at the Festival of Trees is W.G. Rhea Library.
The tree was fashioned of books and was illuminated from within. The slogan, “Books Light Up Our World” was featured on the tree.
Rachel Steedly of the Paris-Henry County Chamber said, “Thanks to all who visited and voted throughout the season!”
The Festival of Trees was open from late November through December 18 at the Downtown Paris Old 5 & 10 Event Center. There were some 30 entries this year. Visitors to the Festival of Trees voted on the Peoples’ Choice.
Winners were announced earlier and were: Best of Show: Henry County Fair; Out of the Box: Market Street Bakery; Best Theme: Mineral Wells Animal Clinic; Most Traditional: 1. Foundation Bank, 2. Mockingbird Catering 3. Lakewood PTO; Most Creative: 1. Arts Council, 2. W.G. Rhea Library; Best Tiny Tree: GG’s Picnic Basket.
