Dennille Johnson, 45, Cottage Grove, Tennesse, died Monday, December 12, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center.
He was born Wednesday, January 19, 1977, in Paris, Tennessee, to Charles Curtis Blakemore, who preceded him in death, and Barbara Ann Johnson, of Cottage Grove.
Dennille was affectionally known as “House” by close friends and family. He loved to cook and his family considered him a wonderful chef.
He was also a people person and was a very positive and uplifting force for all who met him.
Dennille’s biggest desire was for all to have peace and get along with one another.
He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse: Becky Johnson-Resto, of Cottage Grove, who he married Sunday, June 20, 2010; his sons: Isaiah D. Johnson, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee, and Jamaree C.M. Johnson, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee; a sister: Tanny Johnson, of Paris, Tennessee; his brothers: Cortez (Angie) Thompson, of Paris, Tennessee; Franiek Johnson, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee; and Tyrone Kendall, of Puryear, Tennessee; and inlaws: Ana R. (Manuel) Resto, of Killeen, Texas. Dennille is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Humphreys. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Monday until service.
Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery,
