
Ingeborg Magdalena Jopek-Whitecoe, 82, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 8, 2022, at her residence.
Ingeborg was born Monday, August 26, 1940, in Erlangen, Germany, to the late Joseph Georg Karl Weinecke and Magdalena Schmitt Weinecke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
She worked for Kerkstra Middle School in Oak Forest, Illinois. She loved crocheting, word searches, and watching NCIS.
She was married Tuesday, September 10, 2002, to John William Whitecoe, who survives, of Paris.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter: Jeanette (Edmund) Riley, of Springville, Tennessee; three sons: Mike Jopek, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dan (Maureen) Jopek, of Tinley Park, Illinois, and Jim (Dawn) Jopek of Mokena, Illinois; her grandchildren who called her “Omi”; and several great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
