
Ms. Norma Byrd, 87, of Dover, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at NorthCrest Medical Center, Springfield, Tennessee with her loving family by her side.
She was born Saturday, May 4, 1935, in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Beluah Wallace Sanderson.
Norma was a loyal employee at Manor House of Dover in the Housekeeping Department. She loved having her family together in her home to visit and make memories.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband: J.D. Byrd; her sisters: Mary Walker and Julia Griggs; an infant brother; her grandson: Roger Milton, and great-granddaughter: Chasity.
Those left behind to cherish her memory, son: Jimmy Byrd (Debbie), of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughters: Jan Shemwell (Ronnie), of Dover, Tennessee; Julie Proctor (Bobby), of Cunningham, Tennessee; grandchildren: Daniel Byrd (Danielle) and Jennifer White; step-grandchildren: Jenny Spivey (Kyle), Josh Shemwell (Courtney), Ashley Baumberger (Chris), and Josh Fitzhugh (AriAnna); great-grandchildren: Ethan, Ella, Dalton, Andrew, Heather, Billie, Owen, Ruby, Gabe, Emmalin, Lauren, Aubrey, Seth, Mason, Sophie, and Ellison.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Josh Fitzhugh, Daniel Byrd, Andrew Milton, Owen Milton, Dalton Byrd, Ethan Byrd, Josh Shemwell, and Kyle Spivey.
