Mrs. Geroldine Greenwell, 72, of Cumberland City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Humphreys County Care and Rehab Center, Waverly, Tennessee.
She was born Monday, May 3, 1950, in Stewart County, the beloved daughter of the late Jim and Mary Ann Luffman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Hubert Luffman, Harlin Luffman, Harvel Luffman, James Luffman, William Luffman, Leamon Luffman, sisters; Earlene Meade, Emma Selph and Christine Luffman.
She worked hard in several local factories and was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. Geroldine attended Corinth Baptist Church as a faithful servant. Geroldine loved her family deeply and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister, aunt, and friend.
Those left behind to cherish their memories: son, Howard Lee Greenwell; daughter: Cherrl Scarborough (Danny); brother: Russell Luffman (Wanda); sister: Evelyn Brake; grandchildren: Jennifer Smith, Kevin Cartwright, great-grandchildren; Kayden Ehrenhaft, Emily Long and a baby boy on the way.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm November 22, 2022, at Hart Cemetery with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
