
McKenzie, Tenn.–A Carroll County family lost their home to fire Sunday evening. No one was reported injured and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other nearby homes.
The McKenzie Fire & Rescue was called to 214 Blooming Grove Road at 5:1 p.m. and found the home already heavily involved in fire.
A drop tank was set up and a tanker shuttle established. Fire officials said three 1.75 inch attack lines were used by firefighters from McKenzie and Gleason. Also on the scene was Pillowville firefighters, Weakley County EMS and the Weakley County Sheriff Office.

Also on scene: Gleason FD, Pillowville FD, Weakley County EMS, Weakley County SO. Dispatched to a reported structure fire. When McKFD units arrived the structure was heavily involved. A drop tank was set up, and a tanker shuttle established. Three 1.75″ attack lines were used by firefighters from McKenzie and Gleason. All units were on the scene for over three hours.
