Paris Man Honored For Lengthy Military Service

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man has earned the Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor’s Commendation in recognition of his lengthy military service.
Denton Jordan served seven years in the Air Force from 2013 to 2020, was deployed four times to Aghanistan, Africa, Turkey, and Bulgaria/Romania. He was stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany for four years and in Little Rock for three.
He was assigned with the Security Forces, which is military police/infantry for the Air Force.
Jordan and his wife Madison are parents of a daughter, Reagan. His parents are Denton and Shannon Jordan II of Paris and Shannon Jordan of Clarksville. He is the son-in-law of Christi Reavis of Paris.

Tennessee’s community and technical colleges honored veterans on their campuses – students, faculty, staff and alumni. One veteran at each college was awarded the Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veterans, a special recognition launched three years ago by Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor Flora W. Tydings.
